Welcome Spring!!

As hard as it might be to imagine its March, spring has just arrived!! Soon, the sun will begin to slowly warm us through, and the days will steadily give us some extra wiggle room. With the changing light and a few new found hours comes the opportunity to see more light & that brought me to my new home with the eyes of a newcomer and begin to chart seasonal transformation. What an amazing season in which the flowers have become like the hearts and are blooming and all the colors are dissolving, all the fragrances are also dissolving with it.  (Last year Cherry Blossom Festival,DC) Moonlight, waterfalls, clouds, songs, rainfall, butterflies aww such a season to look forward, a delightful start after a lull winter season. Dump Rahul Gandhi(/Pappu)!!

Almost three decades ago, as a young kid it was a moment etched in my memory to get a glimpse of the then Prime Minister of India - Rajiv Gandhi - standing on top of a building which was far away from the helipad prepared for the late Prime Minister's chopper to land!  Those moment are so clear in my mind as that was the first time i saw a "BIG" leader in my life from near my school area!! Years passed; Prime Ministers changed! While I adore leaders like P V Narasimha Rao and Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the manner in which they led this great country; disliked leaders like V P Singh and Deve Gowda who I strongly feel had a negative impact on the future of India. In 2004 when Rahul Gandhi became a Member of Parliament, likely many even I felt - here comes the future of India. This young, then 33-year-lad was being looked upon as the future Prime Minister who would put India on the path to greatness! After spending first term in learning, it was expected that Rah
