Port Lavaca!

T oday as i was stepping out of a beautiful & my comfortable zone of Port Lavaca many things have crossed in my heart for one the most satisfying & also peaceful places in last 15 yrs of me being part nomadic life...Life does give chance to experience if only we stretch our arms to accept and explore new changes. The last 6yrs has been difficult for me with constant travel, changing places, getting accommodative to new environment and people. And also, a huge burden of endless pain i was thrown into Just when i thought life is constant fluid, i got rediscovered myself in this amazing & truly a cinematic experience of living in Port Lavaca. I met some amazingly good friends & even more looking life on bright side with what GOD has given us! Avengers!!

All my growing up years has been filled with many nostalgic memories of brother's & sisters but apart from that it was also filled with some great collection of books, match sticks, stamps, coins...uff..the collections which was lost and those memories are something unforgettable that has etched wonderful moments in my life. One such collection of books which left a great pride of knowing & behaving in certain way was from DC comics, in India DC comics was more famous than any other super heroes. As the day-to-day life progressed & has put so many things forward that enthusiastic nature of reading was some-where lost down the lane in catching up with those heroes who gave an amazing insight into lot of aspects of learning until it came back to me when i moved into USA, with marvel action movies. There are many life lessons we can gain from the spectacle that this super hero/heroines movie /comics gives us. Thought would pen down some of observation on my favor

Carnival Family Trip

I’ve always been curious about cruise and wondered if they would be the kind of holiday that would appeal to me and my family especially after we all meeting after a longest period of time...sure enough it was a most wonderful experience of my life & definitely some unforgettable moments with Gen X. Exciting, fun, memorable, amazing (the list of words would be endless! )..that’s what I’d call hopping on a cruise for the first time. Had mixed feeling of being with family & some deep unrest inside me as how the journey of JUST me would go. But from the time landing to Miami and back the journey of being with family is something enduring forever. As soon as i landed & did some initial shopping headed to port to see our cruise line Carnival. Discovering what’s inside that gigantic vessel that floats across the Atlantic sea is an adventure by itself. Our departure port was Miami which is a fantastic holiday destination in itself, some memories are still stuck in

Life Without Music!!

In noise of the deep making though the way of light is my voice of heart hearing those waves of music which is missing in my life a ray that goes beyond unexplainable calmness. As i was listening to some of the soulful songs from T-series mixtape it brings me those peaceful moments which has begun in my heart in this July. Music has such a spark in it that it can bring spring season even in autumn and such is the power of it that can't be stopped by any wall, it does not have any borders and has such a spark that doesn't believe in religion and caste. It leaves such an impactful impression that it can connects the world together. It is that holy script in which all religion merge together. Music has the entire world in it, can turn the direction of the storms and connects the broken hearts.

Welcome Spring!!

As hard as it might be to imagine its March, spring has just arrived!! Soon, the sun will begin to slowly warm us through, and the days will steadily give us some extra wiggle room. With the changing light and a few new found hours comes the opportunity to see more light & that brought me to my new home with the eyes of a newcomer and begin to chart seasonal transformation. What an amazing season in which the flowers have become like the hearts and are blooming and all the colors are dissolving, all the fragrances are also dissolving with it.  (Last year Cherry Blossom Festival,DC) Moonlight, waterfalls, clouds, songs, rainfall, butterflies aww such a season to look forward, a delightful start after a lull winter season. Just by looking at the river nearby which is eventually going on to meet the sea, which is just like the procession of love. How to tell this to someone, how to make them understand, what love & those feelings are.... there are no restrictions in th

Dump Rahul Gandhi(/Pappu)!!

Almost three decades ago, as a young kid it was a moment etched in my memory to get a glimpse of the then Prime Minister of India - Rajiv Gandhi - standing on top of a building which was far away from the helipad prepared for the late Prime Minister's chopper to land!  Those moment are so clear in my mind as that was the first time i saw a "BIG" leader in my life from near my school area!! Years passed; Prime Ministers changed! While I adore leaders like P V Narasimha Rao and Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the manner in which they led this great country; disliked leaders like V P Singh and Deve Gowda who I strongly feel had a negative impact on the future of India. In 2004 when Rahul Gandhi became a Member of Parliament, likely many even I felt - here comes the future of India. This young, then 33-year-lad was being looked upon as the future Prime Minister who would put India on the path to greatness! After spending first term in learning, it was expected that Rah

FORGIVE WHEN YOU CAN’T FORGET

“ Forgive ,” they say. “Even if they aren’t asking for it. Forgive. Do it for yourself.” -- I don't know who said it but it has pretty powerful impact on my life. It’s good advice given by many at times in my life. Forgiveness is a powerful act which doesn’t free the guilty party, but frees the victim from being held captive by the past actions of another. It doesn’t undo the event which caused that terrible pain. It doesn’t cause someone to forever forget. It simply creates the possibility for healing to begin. But what happens when you try to forgive and it doesn’t seem to work? You want to move on, but you can’t. You’re stuck. One of the great misconceptions about forgiveness is that it can happen in one dramatic act, nah it doesn’t, the ramification is so hard hitting at times. The thought is that we can have a powerful moment and forever be done with the situation. Some stand on a mountain, look up at the vast night sky, and make the decision to forgive the o
