Port Lavaca!

T oday as i was stepping out of a beautiful & my comfortable zone of Port Lavaca many things have crossed in my heart for one the most satisfying & also peaceful places in last 15 yrs of me being part nomadic life...Life does give chance to experience if only we stretch our arms to accept and explore new changes. The last 6yrs has been difficult for me with constant travel, changing places, getting accommodative to new environment and people. And also, a huge burden of endless pain i was thrown into Just when i thought life is constant fluid, i got rediscovered myself in this amazing & truly a cinematic experience of living in Port Lavaca. I met some amazingly good friends & even more looking life on bright side with what GOD has given us! Port Lavaca has offered me many moments to cherish, all the evenings gazing the amazingly beautiful sun sets and raising has given me a sense of calmness which i was longing for! It’s hard to begin with where to start and end ...

Avengers!!

All my growing up years has been filled with many nostalgic memories of brother's & sisters but apart from that it was also filled with some great collection of books, match sticks, stamps, coins...uff..the collections which was lost and those memories are something unforgettable that has etched wonderful moments in my life. One such collection of books which left a great pride of knowing & behaving in certain way was from DC comics, in India DC comics was more famous than any other super heroes. As the day-to-day life progressed & has put so many things forward that enthusiastic nature of reading was some-where lost down the lane in catching up with those heroes who gave an amazing insight into lot of aspects of learning until it came back to me when i moved into USA, with marvel action movies. There are many life lessons we can gain from the spectacle that this super hero/heroines movie /comics gives us. Thought would pen down some of observation on my favor...

Carnival Family Trip

I’ve always been curious about cruise and wondered if they would be the kind of holiday that would appeal to me and my family especially after we all meeting after a longest period of time...sure enough it was a most wonderful experience of my life & definitely some unforgettable moments with Gen X. Exciting, fun, memorable, amazing (the list of words would be endless! )..that’s what I’d call hopping on a cruise for the first time. Had mixed feeling of being with family & some deep unrest inside me as how the journey of JUST me would go. But from the time landing to Miami and back the journey of being with family is something enduring forever. As soon as i landed & did some initial shopping headed to port to see our cruise line Carnival. Discovering what’s inside that gigantic vessel that floats across the Atlantic sea is an adventure by itself. Our departure port was Miami which is a fantastic holiday destination in itself, some memories are still stuck in ...

Life Without Music!!

In noise of the deep making though the way of light is my voice of heart hearing those waves of music which is missing in my life a ray that goes beyond unexplainable calmness. As i was listening to some of the soulful songs from T-series mixtape it brings me those peaceful moments which has begun in my heart in this July. Music has such a spark in it that it can bring spring season even in autumn and such is the power of it that can't be stopped by any wall, it does not have any borders and has such a spark that doesn't believe in religion and caste. It leaves such an impactful impression that it can connects the world together. It is that holy script in which all religion merge together. Music has the entire world in it, can turn the direction of the storms and connects the broken hearts.

Welcome Spring!!

As hard as it might be to imagine its March, spring has just arrived!! Soon, the sun will begin to slowly warm us through, and the days will steadily give us some extra wiggle room. With the changing light and a few new found hours comes the opportunity to see more light & that brought me to my new home with the eyes of a newcomer and begin to chart seasonal transformation. What an amazing season in which the flowers have become like the hearts and are blooming and all the colors are dissolving, all the fragrances are also dissolving with it.  (Last year Cherry Blossom Festival,DC) Moonlight, waterfalls, clouds, songs, rainfall, butterflies aww such a season to look forward, a delightful start after a lull winter season. Just by looking at the river nearby which is eventually going on to meet the sea, which is just like the procession of love. How to tell this to someone, how to make them understand, what love & those feelings are.... there are no restrictions i...

Dump Rahul Gandhi(/Pappu)!!

Almost three decades ago, as a young kid it was a moment etched in my memory to get a glimpse of the then Prime Minister of India - Rajiv Gandhi - standing on top of a building which was far away from the helipad prepared for the late Prime Minister's chopper to land!  Those moment are so clear in my mind as that was the first time i saw a "BIG" leader in my life from near my school area!! Years passed; Prime Ministers changed! While I adore leaders like P V Narasimha Rao and Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the manner in which they led this great country; disliked leaders like V P Singh and Deve Gowda who I strongly feel had a negative impact on the future of India. In 2004 when Rahul Gandhi became a Member of Parliament, likely many even I felt - here comes the future of India. This young, then 33-year-lad was being looked upon as the future Prime Minister who would put India on the path to greatness! After spending first term in learning, it was expected that Rah...

FORGIVE WHEN YOU CAN’T FORGET

“ Forgive ,” they say. “Even if they aren’t asking for it. Forgive. Do it for yourself.” -- I don't know who said it but it has pretty powerful impact on my life. It’s good advice given by many at times in my life. Forgiveness is a powerful act which doesn’t free the guilty party, but frees the victim from being held captive by the past actions of another. It doesn’t undo the event which caused that terrible pain. It doesn’t cause someone to forever forget. It simply creates the possibility for healing to begin. But what happens when you try to forgive and it doesn’t seem to work? You want to move on, but you can’t. You’re stuck. One of the great misconceptions about forgiveness is that it can happen in one dramatic act, nah it doesn’t, the ramification is so hard hitting at times. The thought is that we can have a powerful moment and forever be done with the situation. Some stand on a mountain, look up at the vast night sky, and make the decision to forgive the o...

Enjoy life in Slow Motion!!

I am no poet neither have that potential, so can't be. But I've always wanted to write like one considering so many things that comes into my mind for last couple of years. If there's anything in the world I want to imitate (no, really) and be proud of it, it's the way some beautiful lyrical some writers imagine & write some of the most memorable line that leave impeccable for years & generation — a cascade of expression that sweeps you off your feet by its immense imaginative quotient, astounding authenticity and superb imagery — deliciously intense, joyously experimental, distinctively modern (they must be the only few in this generation to write in a language that speaks to the rock-addict, pop-loving generation). As i was driving today to my work happened to listen to Guru title song (even though heard several times earlier it was with my full concentration was listening to lyrics),it has four lines I am enamored of: " Jaage hain der tak hamen kuc...

Give yourself the freedom to Grow..

As i was watching some random animal channel came to know a Hermit crabs. As they grow, they keep shifting from one shell to another to fit them properly. This does not necessarily mean that the previous shell was unimportant or invaluable. It just means that they are moving on from something which was stunning their growth. Same is the case for humans. As we go through our lives, we meet people and have different experiences at different stages. Our social circle and encounters are something which constantly change. Those who were once pillars of strength and out solace may now be just social media acquaintances or strangers. An experience which made us feel secure just may be a bland memory now. This does not diminish the value of the relationship or the experience;they were what we needed during that phase in life. As we grow, we need to sometimes let go and reboot our social circle and consciousness, which i'm yet to learn. We need to let go of relationships and experienc...

OPEN Window!!

I love Windows!! As a child, i always used to hanker for the window sear during our family journeys, particularly by train. Whenever i choose to fly on occasion, my priority was getting a window seat and i remember few of those memories when i fought to sit by the window with my brothers. The window always lets the world in, no matter how small our own inner world is. Along with light, it invities views of the larger world, reminding us how small we are. And for me, a window is also the perfect metaphor for transparency. When we choose to love in spaces without windows, we lose out on perspective. We get trapped in out own vision, which grows weaker by the day. Sometimes, we may have a window, which we closed. All we need to do, in that case, is to simply open the window.

Distance between U & Me!!

There are so many moments that I remember, that just come into my mind and have become like pictures, how do I forget them? How can i forget them & what do I tell my heart...there are so moments & there are so many things that my heart wants to pour out at times but sadly they have become silent on my lips...some day, listen to them, someday feel them, know what tears has to say…where did i lost you, where did all the nights, evening & days gone when we spent with each other....was it all dream?? Why dint this story not finish?...where did this distance come from, in both our hearts, an unknown sorrow is hidden....will it ever reduce, what can one say....both of us had once obtained in a curve of life & what sort of loneliness, what can one say...how alone is this moment. The smoke languishes in the breath, where has this distance come from? So many moments, I remember they become like pictures....how do I forget them, how can i forget them & what do I tell to...

All are Good!!!

Today as usual after a busy office day was returning home with my usual heavy heart of going back to a cocoon that i have built all this month's to hide myself from the world & not to show anyone what my eyes are speaking....noticed & almost seemed diabolic incident and somehow wondering if I could go home at all from office when a small baby met with a terrible accident just a lane in- front of me. Suddenly i could see with-in minutes the lady's car who was driving crashed to death(could have) and again those moments of pain were captured by my eyes, i got down the car rushed to see but was blocking the way for emergency vehicles to even help in whatever way i could....after many a days i felt so helpless, when i wanted to do something to contain the situation but couldn't do anything. It took me close to another hour or so to rush back home, come back to the same place where this incident happened only to know that the lady was actually working in my office. ...

Smile In Pain

Sometime my lips smile even in pain -- and those are moments when i remember the memories i shared with you and the moment i spent with you, All those past moments i got in my life with you even for a moment itself, i felt real and had i true smile. My days with you were true and those days in your arms which i spent my nights were true and today when i remember those moments, those moments force me to forget all my sorrows. Whenever i remember those memories and those past moments, those times when you were putting your head on my shoulders and those times you were hiding in my heart dear were true for me. Today i'm lost and feel like broken glass, today when i recollect those moments we shared it vanishes the loneliness in my heart even in pain i get smile...Love you always.

Broken Pieces

My dear in every room of our time together there is a box, for all the memories that we shared together, now it is the time to pack away those beautiful memories, with lot of sadness, pain and with lot of care. The first one is a simple & yet beautiful smile, whenever i was thinking about you, i tired to neatly fold into four, and that's the best that thing which I could do. Next are all the memories & moments spend with you, of the times when we were two & spent time together, wrapped with lots of love one by one, and is sealed with tears as glue. And then there are the butterflies all around, which I had when you were near & close, and now they are trapped in a cage of sadness & in dark, and locked up with a tear. Next are the times we kissed & looked into each other eyes, each of which are now wrapped with a sigh, placed next to a rolled up list, of all the times I've asked myself why.....why this separation? Now had to pack a...

It took me time but...

It took time, but I learnt to live, however be the days, I have learnt to live, now I have known this, what's happiness and what's sorrow  both are weathers of two moments neither they wait nor stay life gets made of two colors, now angry, now placated, this, this is here.. It took time, but I learnt to live, Without tears, I have learnt to live Now I have known whom to call mine there is someone, who has told me where have you been left, life is like a convoy, when are you alone here (you never are) everything, everything is here.. When someone tells a happy, cheerful story, my heart says, I'd listen too, If there are pearls in tears, someone's souvenir, my heart says, I'd pick too.. I should be embracing my love only, I should be walking just like that in the paths, just like that.. now here, now there... But now i started learn to live....

10 great reasons to leave India

Filmmaker Kamal Hassan’s stance on his film Vishwaroopam has changed to enable its commercial release this week in Tamil Nadu. But the thought of Citizen Kamal Hassan – of wanting to leave India – still holds. It is an important thought. It pops up often in the minds of many Indians but it doesn’t get written about. Far too many Indians wish to quit the country. Here are 10 most common reasons why they want to. 1. Aggressive society Passive-aggressive in the south; hostile in the north. This upsets people. You can sense it on the roads, in shops, in cinemas, in offices. And definitely in places that sell liquor. Indians who have spent time even briefly in the West are able to sense the offensive nature of India better. Non-Indians are plain shocked. Any interaction with Indians can get violent within moments. The aggression is mostly verbal, but just as bad as physical hostility. This makes people want to leave and never return. 2. Unchanging politics There are six national ...

Indians have succeeded in countries ruled by whites, but failed in their own...!!

This is one of the article which i loved it...(not written by me...!!) In this last Swaminomics of the millennium, I would like to sum up our performance in the 20th century in one sentence. Indians have succeeded in countries ruled by whites, but failed in their own. This outcome would have astonished leaders of our independence movement. They declared Indians were kept down by white rule and could flourish only under self-rule. This seemed self-evident. The harsh reality today is that Indians are succeeding brilliantly in countries ruled by whites, but failing in India . They are flourishing in the USA and Britain . But those that stay in India are pulled down by an outrageous system that fails to reward merit or talent. Fails to allow people and businesses to grow, and keeps real power with netas, babus, and assorted manipulators. Once Indians go to white-ruled countries, they soar and conquer summits once occupied only by whites. Rono Dutta has become head of Unite...

DID I MARRY THE RIGHT PERSON?

During one of our seminars, a woman asked a common question. She said, "How do I know if I married the right person?" .I noticed that there was a large man sitting next to her so I said,"It depends. Is that your husband?" In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?". Let me answer this question because the chances are good that it's weighing on your mind. Here's the answer. EVERY relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their idiosyncrasies. Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love...Because it's happening TO YOU. People in love sometimes say, "I was swept of my feet." Think about the imagery of that __expression. It implies that you were just standing there; doing no...

Entertaining Trip to DC,Baltimore

On yet another weekend trip along with my friends, I decided to take them to Baltimore. As I have already been there, framed my mind as a guide for them to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Baltimore is about 3 hour from our House, so the commute isn't bad. Driving into the city was fun because it's so very different than our nation's Capital. The area around the harbor along Chesapeake Bay was particularly impressive & worth watching. After a long drive and hunt to park we finally found a place close to the Aquarium to rest our car and get along with the fun!!!. The first thing I finalized to take them was to the Dolphin show. Wow it was fabulous, with amazing stunts from such sweet loving creatures GOD has created. The announcement came up with some slide showing a baby Dolphin that was born recently so the excitement was unfolding added to this was the great game show which was performed by the rest...
